How to Crochet a Turban Headband Pattern

Crochet Turban Headband

If you tell others about my work, please only link back to my blog, but don't copy my patterns to your site. Also you can sell anything you make from my patterns, but don't sell the free pattern. Thank you!

Materials:
I used Red Heart Cream yarn, you can use any kind of yarn
I hook
Yarn Needle

Abbreviations:
ch=chain
sl st=slip stitch
sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
Start: I made this for a Women's head. Take a measurement of the head you are making the  headband for and subtract 2 inches. So I crocheted enough chains to measure 20 inches by subtracting from 22 inches.

Row 1: I hook, Chain for 76  or however many chains it takes to create your size of headband that can wrap around the circumference of your head.
Row 2: Sc in the 2nd chain from the hook and each chain across. Turn -75 sc
Row 3: sc in the back loops of each sc across, Turn -75
Rows 4-14: Repeat Row 3  up to Row 14:

Connect the ends together with a slip stitches. Fasten off.

Starting with the seam, take about 2 feet of yarn, and wrap it around the seam you just sewed together, and wrap it around the center to create the turban look. Fasten off.

Thank you for sharing this pattern! I love how mine turned out in an Ombre colored yarn. I need to make one in solid colors now!
