I created this button crochet flower with a 1.5 hook and size 10 thread yarn. The button is about 1.5 to 2 inches. This is no right or wrong if you would like to use a smaller or larger button. Make sure you hook fits through the holes in the button.
Abbreviations:
sc=single crochet
sl st=slip stitch
ch=chain
tr=treble crochet
Rnd 1: slip knot onto your hook, insert your hook in the hole and sc, ch 1, *Repeat two more times,
insert your hook in the next hole and sc and ch 1, 3 times, Repeat for each hole of the button. sl st in the beginning stitch
Rnd 2: with white yarn, sl st into any chain 1 space, *sc, ch1, *Repeat around
Rnd 3: sl st, **ch 2, work 6 tr, ch 2, sl st in the same space, sl st in the next two stitches, create another petal **Repeat, until you have 6 petals, then fasten off and weave in your ends. I hope you enjoyed this crochet flower with button center!
