Crochet Christmas Tree Ornament

It measures about 3 by 4 inches. You can always use a bigger hook for a bigger tree.
I made this cute little crochet tree to hang on my tree and I can use them for bookmarks too.

E hook
Red Heart Green Yarn
Yarn needle
sl st=slip stitch
sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
Row 1: Ch 4, Join to the beginning ch to form a circle. Ch 3(counts as first dc), (dc, ch 2, 2dc), ch 3, (2dc, ch 2, 2dc), Ch 3, sl st top of the beg of ch 3, turn.
Row 2: sl st into the chain 3 space. Ch 3, dc in the ch-3 space, dc in the next two dc, 2dc in the ch 3 space, dc in the next 2 dc, 2 dc in the last ch 3 space, turn.
Row 3: Ch 4, dc in the next dc, *ch 1, dc in the next dc,  *Repeat, turn.
Row 4: Ch 4, *Skip 2 dc, 2dc in the next dc, *Repeat, At the end of the row, ch 2 and then dc in last dc, turn.
Row 5: Ch 3, dc in the next dc, *Skip dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc in the ch 2 space, *Repeat , In the last dc, work 2dc,  turn.
Row 6: sl st in the next 6 dc, Ch 3, dc in the next 9 dc, turn.
Row 7: sl st in the next 4 dc, ch 3, dc in the same stitch as the ch 3, dc in the next 4 dc, Fasten off.
To hang the tree, you can add a ribbon or add crochet chain of 6, and sl st to the beg chain, then attach the chain to the top of the tree so you can hang it.
