How to Crochet a Hair Bun Cover


Crochet Hair Bun Holders are a great way to add a nice finish to your bun. This a wonderful idea for little dancers as well. I created this pretty bun cover with medium worsted yarn and F Hook. I uploaded a video if you need more assistance.

Abbreviations
ch=chain
sl st=slip stitch
tr=treble crochet

Rnd 1: F Hook, Ch 5, sl st to join.

Rnd 2: Ch 5. *tr, ch 1, *Repeat for a total of 11 tr, sl st in the 5th chain.

Rnd 3: Sl st into the chain space, ch 4, tr, ch 1, *work 2 tr in the next chain space, ch 1, *Repeat around, sl st into the ch 4

Rnd 4: Sl st into the chain space, ch 4, tr, *ch 2, skip the next tr space, 2 tr in the next spaces ch 2,  *Repeat around. sl st in the ch 4.

Rnd 5: Repeat Rnd 4 for the rest of the pattern.

Repeat Rnd 5, Continue on until you have the Size you would like.

Last Rnd, Ch 1, sc in each stitch and 2sc in the chain 2 space, sl st in the ch 1.
