How to Crochet a Shell Dishcloth Pattern

Crochet Shell Dishcloth



I love crochet dishcloths that have great unique designs. This pretty dishcloth is made with cotton yarn and a F crochet hook. Crochet Dishcloths make wonderful gifts and great to have in the kitchen.

Supplies: F hook
10 inch square when finished.

Abbreviations:
ch=chain
dc=double crochet
rep=repeat
sk=skip
sc=single crochet
beg=beginning
sl st=slip stitch

Instructions:
ch 52
row 1: 3 dc in 6th ch from hook, ch 2, dc in next ch, *sk next 4 ch, 3 dc in next ch, ch 2, dc in next ch; rep from *across to last 4 ch, sk next 3 ch, dc in last ch. Turn

row 2: ch 4, *shell (3dc, ch2, dc) in next ch-2 sp; rep from *across, dc in 5th ch of beg ch-5. Turn
rows 3-20: rep row 2. do not turn at end of row 20.

Edging: ch 1, sc evenly around the entire edge of dishcloth, join with sl st in beg sc. Fasten off
