How to Crochet Fingerless Gloves Tutorial

Supplies:
H hook
100% Alpaca yarn or whatever yarn you prefer
Yarn needle

Abbreviations:
ch=chain
sl st=slip stitch
sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
ch=chain
Make 2, H hook

Start: chain 36, connect with a sl st to form a circle

Rnd 1. chain 3 (counts as first dc), dc in the next chain, *Skip 2 chains, 2dc in the next ch, ch 1, 2dc in the same ch (shell will be made), skip 2 chains, dc in the next two chains *Repeat around. sl st on top of the chain 3.

Rnds 2-8. *Repeat round 1 for a total of 8 rounds
Rnd 9. Insert Thumb hole by following the pattern, then chain past 1 complete pattern then start the pattern again to end.
So Chain 3, dc in the next dc, skip 2 previous 2 dc, *work 2dc, ch 1, 2dc shell in the previous chain 1 space, dc in the next 2 dc, work 2dc, ch 1, 2dc shell in the chain 1 space, 

Insert Thumb Hole, Chain 1, Skip the next 2 dc, and previous 2dc, ch 1, 2dc shell, Now dc in the next two dc, *Repeat the pattern around.  Slip stitch on top of the chain 3.

Next two final Rnds. 10-11. Repeat as the same as Round 1. Chain 3, dc in the next dc, skip 2 previous 2 dc, work 2dc, ch 1, 2dc shell in the chain 1 space, *dc in the next 2 dc, work 2dc, ch 1, 2dc shell in the chain 1 space,  *Repeat around, sl st on top of chain 3.
