This crochet ring stitch can be done with any hook size and yarn. I uploaded a video if you need more help.
Abbreviations
sc=single crochet
hdc=half double crochet
Rnd 1: Any chain count works. Sample 20 chains,
turn, sc in each stitch across.
Rnd 2: ch 2, *yarn over and insert the hook, grab the yarn, take the first loop and pull through, *Repeat across
Rnd 3: ch 1, Turn, sc in each stitch across
Rnd 4: ch 2, *yarn over and insert the hook, grab the yarn, take the first loop and pull through, *Repeat across
Repeat Rounds 3-4
