Easy Crochet Wave Blanket Tutorial for Beginners

This crochet wave blanket pattern was done with medium worsted yarn and a F hook. This pattern is great for beginners and looks beautiful when finished. The beginning chain is the length of the pattern so make your chain which is done in multiples of 10 + 1 + 4(turning chain), until you reached around 42 inches.

This crochet baby blanket is done in the multiple of 10 + 1 + 4(turning chain)

I did a sample of 30 + 1 + 4 + = chain 35

Row 1: 2dc in the 5th chain from the hook, skip the next two chains, *sc in the next 5 chains, skip 2, 5 dc the next ch, skip 2 ch, *Repeat across, end with 3 dc in the last chain. Turn

Row 2: ch 1, sc in each back loop across, Turn

Row 3: ch 1, sc in the next 3 stitches, skip 2 stitches, *5 dc in the next stitch, skip 2 stitches, sc in the next 5 stitches, skip 2 stiches, *Repeat across, end with sc in the last 3 stitches, Turn

Row 4: Repeat row 2

Row 5: ch 3, 2 dc in the same stitch, skip 2 stitches, *5 dc in the next stitch, skip 2 stitches, sc in the next 5 stitches, skip 2 stitches, *Repeat across, Turn

Row 6: Repeat row 2

Alternate between Rows 3-6.

Fasten off and Weave in your ends.
