This crochet wave blanket pattern was done with medium worsted yarn and a F hook. This pattern is great for beginners and looks beautiful when finished. The beginning chain is the length of the pattern so make your chain which is done in multiples of 10 + 1 + 4(turning chain), until you reached around 42 inches.

Row 1: 2dc in the 5th chain from the hook, skip the next two chains, *sc in the next 5 chains, skip 2, 5 dc the next ch, skip 2 ch, *Repeat across, end with 3 dc in the last chain. Turn
Row 2: ch 1, sc in each back loop across, Turn
Row 3: ch 1, sc in the next 3 stitches, skip 2 stitches, *5 dc in the next stitch, skip 2 stitches, sc in the next 5 stitches, skip 2 stiches, *Repeat across, end with sc in the last 3 stitches, Turn
Row 4: Repeat row 2
Row 5: ch 3, 2 dc in the same stitch, skip 2 stitches, *5 dc in the next stitch, skip 2 stitches, sc in the next 5 stitches, skip 2 stitches, *Repeat across, Turn
Row 6: Repeat row 2
Alternate between Rows 3-6.
Fasten off and Weave in your ends.
