Crochet Flower Headband









Size=21-22 inches, Women's head Half double crochet headband, wider band then the other one on my blog and different flower

Supplies:
button I hook Vanna White brown yarn h hook

Abbreviations: ch=chain hdc=half double crochet sl st=slip stitch 2hdctog=two half double crochet together decrease dc=double crochet

Instructions:

row 3. hdc in the first two chains, 2 hdc in the next chain increase, hdc in the next two chains, turn, ch 1 (6 hdc)

53. hdc, skip 1 chain, hdc in the last stitch, this will be your button hole. fasten off, weave in ends. On the other side, sew a button on the end of the headband.


FLOWER
H hook
Ch 4, join with sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1 Ch 5, *sc in ring, ch 3, rep from * 6 times. Join with sl st to 2nd ch of beg ch. Place marker for beg of rnd. Slip marker each rnd.
Rnd 2 *[Sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc] in next ch-3 sp, rep from * 6 times. Join with sl st to beg sc.
Rnd 3 Sc through back of sc of Rnd 2, ch 6, * sk next sc, sc through back of next sc of Rnd 2, ch 6, rep from * 5 times. Join with sl st to beg sc.
Rnd 4 *[Sc, hdc, 5 dc, hdc, sc] in next ch-6 sp, rep from * 6 times. Join with sl st to beg sc.
Rnd 5 Sc through back of sc of Rnd 4, ch 6, * sk next sc, sc through back of next sc of Rnd 4, ch 6, rep from * 5 times. Join with sl st to beg sc.
Rnd 6 Rep Rnd 4. Fasten off.
FINISHING, Weave in ends.

Thanks a lot for this pattern. It worked great. I used a bulky yarn with a size 9mm crochet and increased the stitches to 10 only and decreased from there, it worked wonderfully!
I'll look at more of your patterns now!

How many skeins does this take? I am on row 22 and almost done with one pack of yarn? I think it may be too big? Thank you for all your awesome patterns, new to crochet and they are great for even beginners!!! Bless you!!
