easy pattern to follow. Thank you for sharing it. I post my panda hat on ravelry.com. I made it for my 2 years old nephew.
Just one thing. I made year flaps a little bit on back, they aren't exactly in half of the hat.

My son came home from school and asked me to make him a "hat with a face" like his friend had. I'm so glad I found your pattern through a search on the internet! Can't wait to make this for him.

Love this pattern, thank you Amy for sharing it with us.

How exactly did you sew the ears to the top of the hat? I can't seem to get it right. And did you use white or black yarn for the sewing?

I used a yarn needle and sewed the the bottom of the ears to the hat on top and I used black yarn.
