I made this to wear during the summer months! I always
thought the head scarf looked so casual and fun to wear.

Supplies:
Purple and White yarn
G hook
Abbreviations:
dc=double crochet
sc=single crochet
sl st=slip stitch
ch=chain
Row 1: Ch 2, work 2 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, Turn -2 sc
Row 2: Ch 4 (Counts as a Dc and Ch 1), Dc in the same stitch as the Ch 4, ch 1, dc in the next dc, Turn -3 dc
Row 3: Ch 4 (Counts as a Dc and Ch 1), Dc in the same stitch as the Ch 4, work ch 1 and dc in the next dc, *work ch 1 and dc in last dc, *Twice at the last dc, Turn -5 dc
Row 4: Ch 4 (Counts as a Dc and Ch 1), Dc in the same stitch as the Ch 4, ( ch 1, dc) in the next 4 dc, Turn (No Increase made in the last dc) -6 dc
Row 5: Ch 4 (Counts as a Dc and Ch 1), Dc in the same stitch as the Ch 4, (ch 1, dc,) in the next 4 dc, *work ch 1, dc in last dc *Twice at the last dc, Turn (Increase made in the last dc) -8 dc
Rows 6- 23: You will alternate between rows 4-5, so you did row 5, now you will go back to row 4 and dont make an increase the end, but you middle count will increase each row, then go to row 5, and make an increase(*work ch 1, dc in last dc *Twice at the last dc row at the end), so go back and forth until you get to row 23 or how wide you want it.
With White yarn, then sc, around the entire edge of the head scarf, then go to row 23 and on each side, chain 50 on each side and then turn and sc on in the 2nd sc from the hook and sc in each sc across to make a thick tie, Make 2. Fasten off.
