Crochet Rainbow Wash Cloth


Crochet Rainbow washcloth made with 7 different cotton yarns. You can fold it in half to make it look like a Rainbow. 
Abbreviations:
sc=single crochet
sl st=slip stitch ch=chain
dc=double crochet

Supplies:

Sugar n Cream Pink, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Dark Blue, Purple Yarn
I created this Rainbow Wash cloth following ROY G BIV; which is red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet colors. I used pink instead of red and dark blue for indigo.

H hook

Rnd 1:  Start with Purple Yarn, Magic Circle, work a chain 3, 11 dc in the magic circle. sl st to Join, sl st in the next stitch. -12 dc
Crochet a Magic Circle with Double Crochet

rnd 2.  Sl st with Dark blue yarn , ch 3(counts as a dc), dc in same st. as joining, 2dc in each st. around. join with sl st on top of chain 2. -24 sts.
rnd 3. Sl st with Light Blue yarn, ch 3 counts as the first stitch, *2dc in next st., dc in the next stitch, repeat from *around, join with sl st. -36 sts.
rnd 4. Sl st with Green yarn, ch 3(counts as a dc), dc in the next st., 2dc in the next sts., *dc in the next two stitches, 2dc in the next stitch, repeat from *around, join with sl st. -48 sts.
rnd 5. Sl st with Yellow yarn, ch 3(counts as a dc), dc in the next two stitches, 2dc in the next st., *dc in the next three stitches, 2dc in the next stitch, repeat from *around, join with sl st. -60 sts.
rnd 6: Sl st with Orange yarn, ch 3(counts as a dc), dc in the next three stitches, 2dc in the next st., *dc in the next four stitches, 2dc in the next stitch, repeat from *around, join with sl st. -72 sts.
rnd 7: Sl st with Pink yarn, ch 3(counts as a dc), dc in the next four stitches, 2dc in the next st., *dc in the next five stitches, 2dc in the next stitch, repeat from *around, join with sl st. -84 sts. fasten off and weave in the ends.
