How to Crochet a Santa Tutorial

Santa Video Tutorial

Abbreviations:
ch=chain
sc=single crochet
sl st=slip stitch
Supplies:
E hook 
Start with Light Pink yarn, Rnd 1: Ch 2, work 6 hdc in the 2nd chain from the hook, sl st with white yarn, work 6 hdc in the same stitch.
Rnd 2: sl st in the next stitch, *chain 3, sl st in the 3rd chain from the hook, sl st in the same stitch, chain 3, sl st in the 3rd chain from the hook, sl st in the next stitch, *Repeat across for a total of 12(chain 3's)
continue on this round sl st with Red yarn, sc in the next 6 sc, 2 sc in the last, chain 5, Turn, sl st in the first chain from the hook, sc in the next 8 stitches, chain 5, sc in the next 3 sc, sl st in the last stitch. Fasten off. Weave in your ends.
Eyes: Take black thread yarn, make two slant lines a few times with your yarn needle on the pink part of the face. About 1/2 inch apart for the eyes.
Nose: Take red yarn, and sew on a vertical line a few times for the nose below the eyes.
The end of the hat tail, take white yarn and sew it on and fray the ends. (seen the picture above) or you can use a pom.
