These Bumby Washcloths are great gift ideas or nice to use for everyday uses. I used cotton yarn with an H hook. The dimensions are 7.5 inches by 9 inches, but you can make it any size. Cotton Sugar and Cream Yarn with H hook
Abbreviations:
ch=chain
hdc=half double crochet
tr=treble crochet
Row 1: Chain 29, sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, *tr in the next chain, sc in the next, *Repeat across (This pattern works as a multiple of 2 + 1, if you want to alter the chain count)
Row 2: Turn, sc in each stitch across
Row 3: Turn, *sc, tr in the next, *Repeat across
Repeat Rows 2 and Row, Alternate between the two rows. I made 23 rows.
Border: sc around the edge of the washcloth, Fasten off, and Weave in the ends.
