This Type of stitch is done in Multiples of 3. The Granny Stripe Stitch is Great for Blankets/Afghans.
Blanket = 120 plus 2 for Turning, H or I Hook.
Chain 24 plus 2 = 26
I used an H hook and Medium worsted yarn.
Abbreviations:
sl st=slip stitch
sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
ch=chainsl st=slip stitch
sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
Supplies:
Purple, Blue, and Pink Yarn
Granny Stripe Video:
sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, sc in each chain across.
Row 1: Ch 3, Turn, dc in the same ch space, skip 2 chains, 3 dc in the next sc, *skip 2 chains, 3 dc in the next sc, *Repeat to the end. 2 dc in the last sc.
Row 2: Ch 3, Turn, *work 3 dc in the skip 2 ch space, *Repeat across, at the end, dc on top of the previous ch 3.
Row 3: Ch 3, Turn, dc in the same stitch as ch 3, *work 3 dc in the skip 2 ch space, *Repeat across, at the end, 2 dc at the end.
Alternate between Row 2 and Row 3.
