This pretty stitch is great for scarfs and blankets. I have a video uploaded if you need more help! It's done with a medium worsted yarn and H hook but you can use any type of yarn and hook.
Abbreviations:
sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
ch=chain
Done with Multiples of 2, plus 1 chain for the turning chain.
Row 1: Sc in second chain from the hook and each stitch across. Turn
Row 2: Ch 2, counts as dc, dc in the next stitch, dc in each stitch across, Turn
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each stitch across, Turn
**Row 4: Ch 2, counts as dc, *
front post dc in the next previous dc, dc in the next stitch, *Repeat by alternating the fpdc, and dc,
Row 5: ch 1, sc in each stitch across, Turn
**Repeat between Rows 4-5 until you are finished. Fasten off. Weave in your ends.
