How to Half Double Crochet Cluster Stitch Across two Stitches

This pretty crochet stitch can use any chain count. I uploaded a video if you need more assistance. You can use any type of yarn or hook size just depending on how big or small you would like it.

I started with 10 chains for the sample, can use any chain count. In the video I used a H hook.

Row 1: Yarn over and insert hook in the 3rd chain from the hook, draw up your loop, yarn over and insert hook into the next chain, yarn over and draw up your loop, then yarn over and pull through all 5 loops on the hook,

*yarn over and insert hook into the same chain space, yarn over and grab the yarn and draw up a loop, yarn over and work into the next chain space, yarn over and draw up a loop, yarn over and pull through all 5 loops on the hook,

*Repeat, work this to the last stitch on the row

Row 2: Chain 2, Turn, Yarn over and insert hook under the chain 2 space, yarn over and draw up a loop, yarn over and insert hook in the next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through all loops on the hook,

*yarn over and insert hook into the same stitch space, yarn over and grab the yarn and draw up a loop, yarn over and work into the next chain space, yarn over and draw up a loop, yarn over and pull through all 5 loops on the hook,

*Repeat until the end of the row.

Rows 3-Desired length. Repeat Row 2.
