ch=chain
sl st=slip stitch
sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
I hook
Chain 9
Row 1: Sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, sc in each chain across, Turn - 8 sc
Rows 2- desired length to wrap around your head by your ears. (54 rows for my head)
Ch 1, sc in each back loop across, Turn
Repeat until you have desired rows.
Slip stitch the two ends together.
Round 1: Ch 1, Hdc in each stitch around, sl st in the beg hdc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, hdc in each back loop around, sl st in the beg hdc.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, hdc in each stitch around, sl st in the beg hdc.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, hdc in each back loop around, sl st in the beg hdc.
Repeat rnds 3-4 until you have about 9 rows.
Take a yarn needle and sew from the center top until you get to the beginning of the brim and then wrap your yarn around about 6-10 times to create the knot center. Then fasten off and weave in the ends.
