How to Crochet a Christmas Tree Garland Tutorial

 



I love these cute little crochet trees for the holidays! You can take yarn and make a garland with them too by streaming them on top of the trees. Also they would make very cute ornaments as well. I used a h hook and medium worsted yarn. 


Abbrevations:
sc=single crochet
sl st=slip stitch
ch=chain


H hook, 

In the Magic circle, work 4 sc in the circle, pull it closed
Row 2: Do not turn, sc in the first stitch, 2sc in the center, sc in the next stitch, 
Row 3: Ch 1, Turn, sc in the backloop, sc in the next backloop, 2sc in the next sc backloop, sc in the next backloop, 
Row 4: Ch 1, Turn, sc in the next two sc backloops, 2 sc in the next sc backloop, sc in the next two backloops, 
Row 5: Ch 1, Turn, sc in the next three sc backloops, 2 sc in the next sc backloop, sc in the next two backloops, 
Row 6: Ch 1, Turn, sc in the next three sc backloops, 2 sc in the next sc backloop, sc in the next three backloops, 
Row 7: Ch 1, Turn, sc in the next four sc backloops, 2 sc in the next sc backloop, sc in the next three backloops, 
Row 8: Ch 1, Turn, sc in the next four sc backloops, 2 sc in the next sc backloop, sc in the next four backloops, 
Row 9: Ch 1, Turn, sc in the next five sc backloops, 2 sc in the next sc backloop, sc in the next five backloops, 
Row 9: Ch 1, Turn, sc in the next  six backloops, 2 sc in the next sc backloop, sc in the next six backloops, Fasten off and Weave in  your ends.

Tree Trunk
Brown yarn, H hook
skip 4 stitches at the bottom of the tree, in row 9. Sl st in your color, ch 1, work 4 hdc in each stitch across, Turn
Work 4 hdc, Fasten off, Weave in your ends.
