Easy Crochet Heart for Beginners!

I created this cute crochet heart for Valentine's Day with a H hook and medium worsted yarn. You can go up a hook size or two to make it bigger or keep adding increased rounds. This heart measures a few inches across. This easy crochet heart for beginners turned so nice. 

Abbreviations:

ch=chain, sl st=slip stitch, sc=single crochet

2sctog=2 single crochet together

Rnd 1: H hook, chain 10, 2 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, sc in the next 3 stitches, 3 sc in the next chain, 2 sc in the last. 

Don't turn, continue on the opposite side.

Rnd 2: sc in the same stitch, sc in the next 2 stitches, 2sctog in the next two stitches, skip middle stitch with the decrease, sc in the next 3 stitches, sl st in the beginning stitch.

Rnd 3: keep working around, Ch 1, 2sc in the same stitch, 2sc in the next stitch, sc in the next 4 stitches, 3 sc in the next stitch, sc in the next 4 sc, 2 sc in the next 3 stitches, sc in the next stitch, 2sctog in the next two stitches, skip the middle stitch with the decrease, sc in the next stitch, 2 sc in the next stitch, sl st in the beg stitch. 

Rnd 4: Ch 1, 2sc in the same stitch, 2sc in the next two stitches, sc in the next 6 stitches, 3 sc in the next stitch, sc in the next 6 stitches, 2 sc in the next 4 stitches, sc in the next stitch, 2sctog in the next 2 stitches, skip the middle stitch with this decrease, sc in the next stitch, 2 sc in the next stitch, sl st in beg stitch.

Rnd 5: Ch 1, 2sc in the same stitch, 2sc in the next two stitches, sc in the next 10 stitches, 3 sc in the next stitch, sc in the next 10 stitches, 2 sc in the next 4 stitches, sc in the next stitch, 2sctog in the next 2 stitches, skip the middle stitch with this decrease, sc in the next stitch, 2 sc in the next stitch, sl st in beg stitch.
