sl st=slip stitch
Row 1: Create a loose chain, for a Shawl you can do 280 plus 2 or you can do any chain count that is done in multiples of 4 plus 2. sc in the second chain from the hook, sc in each chain across to the end. Turn
Row 2: ch 1, sc in the first stitch, *ch 3, skip 3 stitches, sc in the next stitch, *Repeat to the end, sc in the last stitch, Turn
Row 3: Ch 3, *work 5 dc in each chain 3 space, *Repeat across, dc in the last stitch, Turn
Row 4: ch 1, sc in the next two stitches, *ch 3, skip 3, sc in the next two stitches, *Repeat across, end with a sc in the last two stitches, Turn
Row 5: Repeat Row 3
Row 6: Repeat Row 4, Alternate between Rows 5 and 6.
How to End the last row:
Ch 1, sc in the next two stitches, *work 3 hdc in the previous 3 dc, sc in the next two stitches, *Repeat across, end with two sc. Fasten off and Weave in your ends.
