Crochet Reindeer Candy Cane Holder Pouch

 




These fun cute reindeer pouches are perfect for the holidays! I used a H and F hook with medium worsted yarn. I uploaded a video if you need more help. These so adorable on the Christmas tree.


Abbreviations:
ch=chain
sl st=slip stitch
hdc=half double crochet

Pouch
H hook
Rnd 1: Ch 2, work 6 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, sl st in the beg sc.
Rnd 2: work 2 sc in each sc around, sl st in the beg sc. =12 sc
Rnds 3-15: work sc in each sc around in continual around. sl st in the last sc when you work about 14 rounds.

Nose
Red yarn, f hook
Rnd 1: Ch 2, work 4 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, sl st in the beg sc.
Rnd 2: work 2 sc in each sc around, sl st in the beg sc. = 8 sc
Rnds 3-4: sc in each around, Repeat two times total
Rnd 5: 2sctog decrease 4 times. sl st in the last sc. Fasten off. Sew the nose onto pouch in the center.

Ears: F hook
sl st on top of the pouch
Make 2
Row 1: *Chain 5, sl st in the 2nd chain from the hook, sc in the next chain, hdc in the next chain, sc in the next, sl st in the next stitch, work on the opposite of the ear, sc in the next stitch on the opposite of the ear, hdc in the next stitch, sc in the next stitch, sl st in the last stitch on top of the ear. Fasten off. 
Count over about 5 stitches, *Repeat for the other ear. 

Eyes: I hot glue gunned the eyes above the nose. 
Then place candy canes inside the pouch and then it's complete.
