This Warm Blanket is made with the crochet v-stitch and multi-colored yarn. It's great for a baby or an afghan throw.

Abbreviations: beg= beginning ch-space= space previously made rep= repeat sk= skip sts=stitches dc=double crochet sc=single crochet sl st=slip stitch ch=chain
(dc, ch1, dc)= V-stitch
Start with Chain 88
Row 1. (dc, ch 1, dc) in 5th ch from hook, *sk 2 ch, work V-st in next ch; rep from * to last 2 ch, sk 1 ch, dc in last ch- 28 V-sts and dc at each end of row. Row 2. Ch 3, turn, work V-st in each ch-1 sp, end dc in top of turning chain. Rows 3-34. *Repeat Row 2.
I did a sc around the border of the blanket. 3 sc in the corners of the blanket for the edging. Fasten off and weave in ends. found this blanket on lion brand yarn website.
