Hello, I'm new at crocheting - for rows 3 and on, do I do the V-stitch in every chain? Not clear on that, please help!

Basically, in the center of each v stitch, do a v stitch, they call it a chain one space since there is chain one space in between your v stitch, so above each v stitch in the middle do a v stitch, hope this helps

I think that helps, thanks. So when it says v-stitch in each ch-1 sp, there is no actually counting, I just look to see which chain is in the middle of the v-stitch in the row below and put the v-stich there. I'll try it and see how it goes. Thanks again

yes, exactly, thats why when they say chain one space, it means in the middle of the v-stitch, you have a chain 1 there, since you put it there with the v-stitch, dc,ch1,dc, so yes, dont worry about counting, just put a v-stitch in the middle of that v-stitch every time, like you said, good luck!

Amy you did a very good job explaning this. This is the first pattern I have done with so little instructions. It was nice and is turning out nice. I'm doing it in camouflage for a new Grandbaby Girl. Did Anonymous show a picture of what she got done. I love to see what people come up with and the colors they use. Thank You for putting this pattern up.

I love this pattern. thank you for sharing. One quick question, if I want to make it larger, how many multiples do I add to chain? Usually a pattern like this says "multiples of 8 plus 3" or something like that. That leaves the crocheter free to increase or decrease the width. Thanks so much!

sorry, Im not sure how to add width?

Out of curiosity, which Red Heart Multi was used?

It's been so long ago when I made this blanket, I cant remember which kind of yarn, sorry!

TVan, i believe that you can increase by multiples of three in order to add width.
