How to Crochet a V-stitch Adult Cowl Pattern



I have been seeing many crochet cowls online and I had make myself one! This is so much better then a scarf.

Supplies: 
Caron Soft Cream yarn
I Hook, Yarn needle
Abbreviationssl st=slip stitch ch=chain
V-Stitch=(double crochet, ch1, double crochet)

Made this for an adult.

Instructions:
Chain 95, connect the end to the beginning chain with a slip stitch, be sure to not twist the chains.

Rnd 1. Chain 4, Double crochet in the first chain, (this will count as the first v-stitch)
*skip two chains, work a V-Stitch (double crochet, chain 1, double crochet) in the next chain, *Repeat around. (32 V-stitches)
Rnd 2. Slip stitch in the 4th chain of the beginning V-stitch, chain 4, double crochet in the first chain 1 space of that beginning V-stitch, (this will count as the first V-stitch on rnd 2), *Skip two chains, V-Stitch in the next chain 1 space of the previous V-Stitch, *Repeat around, (32 V-stitches)
Repeat Rnd 2, 9 more times or for your desired width. sl st, fasten off.
